  1. Corvette was loaned, but Harry promised not to    put more than 100 miles on it.  Corvette had      1,000 miles on it when loaned to Harry.
  2. Jimmy Joe Bob has a term paper due at Hogsbreath  College.  Majoring in Bovine Beautification,      Jimmy Joe Bob may be the next President.
  3. That Dagwood never returns anything.  I'll        probably have to buy a new mower.
  4. Johnny wanted an advance to buy some new sneakers that he just couldn't live without!  He will pay  back from the money he earns mowing lawns.
  5. Loaned in '61; 1861 that is.  This guy walked     several miles to return what he borrowed.  He     did not have a phone at the time, though.
